I'm so excited to finally post my NYC photodiary. Although the trip mostly consisted of work it made all the difference to pause for a bit each day, take in the fresh Manhattan air and the gorgeous Central Park view our office has to offer. The purples dusted all over the cars and streets in LA mark the start of summer. I can't stop pairing every top I own with these Culotte Shorts from Zara which is why I bought both the black, white and I am still debating if I should get the blue! Oh #firstworldproblems

Amidst all the Mexican ponchos in Old Town San Diego I found this perfectly oversized olive shawl. Sure it slightly resembles my parents old blanket throw but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Went on a roadtrip with Chad and found a little piece of heaven in Laguna. This old abandoned tower was just there on the beach. Perfect in all its loneliness.

Last nights ensemble consisted of gold accents and vintage details. This versatile lame top is quickly becoming one of my spring staples as well as this chunky pearl necklace that totally resembles what I saw in the windows of Chanel in Florence. I've been pretty lazy with my hair lately. Not in the mood to brush or curl, I just like to let it flow free.

This photo isn't the best quality but I wanted to show off this pretty Thakoon number that I scored at Wasteland. Must remember to visit that store more often. I've forgotten how many treasures I've found there in the past. I'm also wearing Chanel Sunnies, bracelets from Bendels and 'Ruby Woo' lipstick by Mac. Hope you all are having a lovely Sunday. I'm off to the farmers market!

Florence Photodiary

I can't wait to show what I've been working on but you will have to wait till June show to see some shoes! In the meantime as promised, here is a photodiary of Florence!

The first night I surprised Jonnathan with a birthday Tiramisu! Pink number candles were the only ones I could find at the Italian grocery store so I settled on 16 :) 

The flower factory is so overwhelming! Hundreds and hundreds of flowers to choose from. Some are fabulous while others are pretty kitschy. I went through every single one of these to find the perfect combination.

After deciding on flowers and finishes its important to document blueprint instructions so everything is 100 percent clear!

Most factories are about 30-40 minutes away along the country side. 

One of the cooler parts of my job; My shoes are in pretty awesome company like Miu Miu. My heart melts every time I see them in production. Swoon.

I have NEVER been a coffee drinker but this trip I somehow started... Ah! Only in Italy.

and the next day...

There was a "farmers" market over the weekend by the Piazza de la Republica (at the carousel). Donald and I kept looking around trying to figure out where everyone was getting the amazing looking sandwiches. We realized they were getting the goods from all different stations and making it themselves. We followed suit!

I settled on truffle oil!

My little souvenir I picked up at my favorite vintage shop.
